R & K are getting married in August in one of the most picturesque spots on the East Coast, St-Andrews-by-the-Sea on the magical Minister’s Island and Ticklebelly Hill. It would be kind of like a destination wedding for themselves and their guests since they are not from there! When the opportunity came up to chat about an engagement session – I was thrilled to hear that they wanted an at-home engagement session! Seriously, I’ve probably mentioned this before but these engagement sessions are my absolute favourite. You’re in your own space, away from the public and it’s basically an amazing keepsake for the home you’ve created together along with the memories that come with it! R & K own this beautiful home atop a hill in Saint John, New Brunswick and I swear it’s probably one of the best views of the city! Not only that, they have all the aesthetics to match it all – the coolest space to match the coolest people right?

I’m so glad I got the opportunity to photograph their magazine-worthy home! They spent their time, relaxing, sipping on their favourite coffee and talking about where they got their favourite records from. Photos are such a great way to keep memories safe. I’ve personally lived in many places and cities and could probably do better with documenting my time with the people I love more. I gotta practice what I preach right?
