For R & T, their day started out with getting ready with their best friends downtown at the Intercontinental in Yorkville, downtown Toronto. Just like many hotels in the downtown Toronto area, it is a great spot to get ready for a wedding – especially if you’re looking for a space for both the bride and groom to get ready in close proximity to each other. Post-getting ready, they all hopped into a limo and just under an hour’s drive, we were all transported to an oasis. Their wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Willow Spring Winery just north of the City.
Willow Springs Winery, situated atop the geographical treasure known as the Oak Ridges Moraine complete with the renowned 11-acres Testa Vineyard, is a wine and event destination not to be missed. Willow Springs Winery provides a beautiful backdrop for all family, corporate and group functions. To my surprise, the Willow Springs venue also has what they called ‘The Testa pavilion’ – basically a massive event tent space looking out to breathtaking views of the vineyard. It is the perfect setting for all occasions. From simple picnic lunches in the vineyard to lavish weddings in the beautiful pavilion.
This spot was completely unknown to me because growing up I always correlated wineries and vineyards to be in the Niagara region! The day was full of anticipation and emotions, which for me, is the best part of weddings. I love the pretty locations, stunning dresses and beautiful floral arrangements but for me, when I’m looking at photos – I am always captivated by the emotions first. Everyone is always bursting at the seams with emotions and I’m so glad I get to capture it all! The love between these two is so real and so fun. I hope you can see it as well through these photos of the day <3
