I am hopeful that if you need to reschedule, we’d still be able to work together because the last thing I want is to no longer be your photographer! I know it is very difficult to coordinate an entire weddings worth of vendors, so I hope keeping all my open dates here will make it a little easier on you.
And, please, if there is anything I can do to help, serve, and support you during this difficult time, do not hesitate to reach out!

I’m making exceptions to my rescheduling clause of my contract to allow for rescheduling of 2020 weddings changes without a rebooking fee. If you’re looking at later in 2020, yay!
If you’re looking to reschedule for 2021 and your original date was a Saturday in peak season (May-Oct), I’m offering an incentive to add an hour to your wedding coverage, free of charge, if you reschedule to a non-peak Saturday(Nov-April)/peak non-Saturday(May-Oct) in 2021. If you’re rescheduling back to a Saturday, your retainer will still carry over without any extra fees.
If your original date was a Friday/Sunday, please consider keeping with keeping your new date on a Friday/Sunday! I would be forever grateful!! If you are switching from a Friday/Sunday to a peak Saturday (May-Oct 2021), we may be looking at some rescheduling fees.
[If you’re having a destination wedding, you can disregard this :)]
*Policies may change as the COVID19 situation changes*
This is my full-time job. As of now, 65% of my weddings in 2020 have or will be rescheduling (please don’t cancel!!) – meaning I will have 65% of my ‘yearly salary’ if we’re lucky! The other half will be in 2021 but with weddings being rescheduled, there is the potential that a large majority of the peak season Saturdays will be taken up by 2020 couples, leaving me with less / little availability to book new couples for 2021.. which is why I’m encouraging you (with the extra hour coverage!) to help me out as best as you can 🙂
Now, I am saying all of this knowing that I am coming from a place of privilege and I have a husband who is still working. And although our expenses is not based on a single income, it is solely because of his income and savings that I am willing to compromise to making an exception to my rescheduling clause of our contract and waiving any rescheduling fees/2021 pricing increases.
This was not written for pity because I know I’m in a good position! I know everyone is struggling in their own ways but hopefully this can help you guys to understand more of the behind the scenes of what is happening with the wedding/events industry through this crisis. If any of your wedding vendors are charging for a price increase/rescheduling – as many are, please be kind and understanding. Many are single or part of families where both partners have lost their jobs, with children, without childcare, etc – all with different business models and expenses. Many of us self-employed/with small businesses are also not entirely eligible for the CERB if we are continually accepting new 2021 retainers as that counts as income. Vendors who are charging for peak Saturdays are not out to ‘profit’ from this – they are merely putting these policies in place so that they can feed their families, keep the roof over their heads, keep their businesses open and give their business the best chance possible in 2021 to pick up new weddings.
If the date does not have “UNAVAILABLE”, you can assume the date is free. Of course it will take me time to update the calendar as things change and couples book and confirm. Send me a quick message to confirm it’s still open just to double check but I will try my best to update these in real time! As always, confirming of new dates will be first come, first serve.
If you have not officially moved your date, your wedding date should still show up on here. If we’ve chatted about a potential date to reschedule to, I’ve marked it down as a soft hold but that won’t be confirmed until we sign a new contract amendment. If for some reason I forgot your date or a date we’ve chatted about, please let me know!
